Welcome to Nicole Bailey Consulting, where I go beyond conventional HR solutions to create meaningful, lasting impact. With over 20 years of experience in Human Resources, leadership, and workforce planning, I have dedicated my career to helping organizations connect people strategy with business needs in ways that drive real results.
I hold a Bachelor’s in Business Administration and a Master’s in Employment Relations from Memorial University of Newfoundland, a foundation that has supported my progressive leadership journey. Over the years, I have honed my skills in developing high-performing teams, strategic HR planning, and creating systems that foster organizational growth and resilience. From leadership development to employee relations, training, disability management, collective bargaining, and talent acquisition as well as casual relief scheduling, I bring a comprehensive understanding of nearly every facet of HR to the table.
My 20-year career has spanned diverse industries, including healthcare, construction, energy, community services, and home care. Working with a range of regulated professions and support services has reinforced a vital lesson: no two businesses are alike. Throughout my career in senior leadership roles, I have led teams to success, bringing a unique perspective that allows me to identify systemic gaps, optimize performance, and guide organizations toward sustainable change..
At Nicole Bailey Consulting, I don’t offer one-size-fits-all answers. Instead, I partner with businesses to deliver customized, actionable strategies that align people, systems, and leadership in ways that fuel growth and innovation. My services cover a wide array of HR functions. From training and development, employee relations, workplace investigations, and conflict resolution to performance management and tactical HR support. I aim to provide business owners with practical solutions that address real challenges, whether it’s improving employee engagement, resolving complex conflicts, or reimagining organizational design.
Training and development are key elements of my approach. With a strong foundation in theory and hands-on experience, I design training that gives participants the tools—not just the knowledge—to enhance their skills. I provide the tools and skills people i need to handle all kinds of workplace and people challenges. I focus on areas such as supervisory skills development, interpersonal communication, negotiation, performance support, workforce planning, and succession planning. My goal is to take people out of their comfort zones and guide them toward tangible improvements in their capabilities.
Outside of my consulting work, I am an avid soccer player and a proud mom of two boys. I stay engaged in my community as a member of the Board of Directors for my local soccer association and as a youth soccer coach—roles that reflect my passion for team building and leadership on and off the field.
